Good News from Pathology Report

Mary Jo is resting at home after her ultrasound guided endoscope biopsy procedure this morning. The doctor said the procedure went well. He believes he was able to get several quality specimens from the suspect lymph node which was in a very difficult area to access because it was very near her lungs. Dr. Rossi talked with us after the procedure. He said not to start celebrating the news yet, but he feels the suspect nodes are not consistent with malignant lymph nodes. We will have to wait until the pathology report confirms the results of the biopsy which he assumes should be completed by Friday at best, likely on Monday. This is good news and exactly the type of news we were cautiously expecting but we could still use your prayers until the pathology confirmation comes in.
